We offers comprehensive services for victims of physical or emotional abuse. These services include:
- Toll-free Hotline Services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- Providing Crisis Intervention, information and referral.
- A safe place to live 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Access to emergency food, clothing, and medical care for shelter residents.
- Referral to appropriate support services, including legal assistance and law enforcement agencies.
- Case Management Services.
- Court-mandated Counseling for Victims.
- Community Education and Mental Health Consultation

Options to Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault is a private, nonprofit, grass-roots organization founded as Tri-County Services for Abused Spouses in 1983 by a small group of citizens who recognized the need to assist abused women and their children in Beaufort, Hyde and Tyrrell counties in eastern North Carolina. A year later, citizens of adjoining Martin and Washington counties asked for official inclusion in Options’ service area.
